Dr. Kent Gremmels was born in DuQuoin, Illinois. Throughout school he was active in Sports, Band, Student Government, and Theatre. He graduated from DuQuoin High School and attended Southern Illinois University. Upon completion of his studies at SIU he attended and graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1981, with a Bachelor in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Gremmels has postgraduate certification in Erhardt xray seminars and is a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician through National College of Chiropractic
He married in 1978 to his wife Lisa and they have three children. After moving to Birmingham in 1981, with his wife, Dr. Gremmels went to work as an associate at Roebuck Chiropractic Center. In 1982, he opened his own practice and continues to operate Gremmels Chiropractic Center in Center Point.
He actively participated in slow pitch softball and coached little league baseball in Center Point and Trussville for 20 years. Dr. Gremmels has been able to use his background as a sports physician to treat people with common musculoskeletal injuries, on-the-job injuries, Auto-Accident injuries, and the wear and tear injuries that occur in everyday life
